Daily Routine

 

It is widely accepted that children thrive on routine and structure. 

 

I have a duty to deliver different requirements to a number of children and so our routine will always have a degree of flexibility.

 

A typical term time day may take the following shape - 

 

08:00-08.45  Arrival, Breakfast and settling in

08:45-09:15   Pre-School/School drop off  

09.15-10.00   Free Play

10:00-10.30   Morning snack 

10.30-11.45    Adult led activity eg. messy play or an outing 

11.45-12.15     Pre-School pick-up

12:15-13.15     Lunch 

13:15-14:45    Adult led activity eg baking 

15:00-15.30   Afternoon Pre-School/Primary school pick up

15:30-15.45   Afternoon snack 

15:45-16.30   Free Play

16.30-17.00   Dinner Time  

17:00-18:00   Home time
